French Bread Pizza

Consider this less of a recipe and more a reminder of a delicious, easy meal you can make.

It doesn't get any easier than this. You can create any variation you like! I actually had the toppings growing in my garden (which makes it even cheaper).

Grocery list items:
Tomato sauce
Mozzarella cheese
French bread

French Bread Pizza
1 baguette (or other long, French-type loaf)
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 leaves basil (torn into pieces)
1 hot banana pepper (sliced)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice your baguette in pieces, then slice open to make the pizza. Top with sauce, cheese, basil leaves, and hot pepper. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.

And now you have pizza! Change it up with different toppings or sauces. I looked in my fridge, saw it was nearly empty, and somehow managed to whip up a meal! I love foods like this, don't you?
